Made from a steel ingot or solid pipe blank through perforation, then formed by hot rolling, cold rolling, or cold drawing. Seamless pipes have no weld seam, offering superior strength for higher-pressure applications. Specification is expressed as outer diameter × wall thickness in millimetres.
